Simple Chicken Alfredo Pasta: A Quick and Creamy Delight!

Chicken Alfredo Pasta:


  • 8 oz (about 225g) fettuccine pasta
  • 1 lb (about 450g) boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup (240ml) heavy cream
  • 1 cup (240ml) chicken broth
  • 1 cup (about 100g) grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish


  1. Cook the Pasta:

    • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
    • Cook the fettuccine pasta according to the package instructions until al dente.
    • Drain and set aside.
  2. Cook the Chicken:

    • Season the chicken slices with salt, pepper, dried oregano, and dried basil.
    • In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium-high heat.
    • Add the seasoned chicken slices and cook until they are golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  3. Prepare the Alfredo Sauce:

    • In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of olive oil.

    • Add the heavy cream and bring the mixture to a simmer.
    • Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
  4. Combine and Serve:

    • Add the cooked chicken slices back to the skillet, stirring to coat them in the Alfredo sauce.
    • Add the cooked fettuccine pasta to the skillet, tossing to combine and coat the pasta in the sauce.
    • Season with additional salt and pepper if needed.
    • Garnish with fresh chopped parsley.
  5. Serve Immediately:

    • Plate the Chicken Alfredo Pasta and serve hot.
